Because it is always about people

Openly, constructively and with an eye to the matter at hand, I capture the essence and
the communicative potential.

Liliane Elspass - PR agency Communications Circle

Liliane Elspass

I am familiar with internal structures (matrix organization), processes (compliance, SOPs), thinking and procedures (purpose, values, DEI) from my many years of professional experience for internationally operating, R&D-based groups and in team-oriented, transnational cooperations. I feel at home in an international environment.

The agency responsibilities are part of my portfolio autonomy: Mandates as part-time freelancer, part-time permanent position, and pro bono projects.

Curriculum vitae

My studies at the School of Applied Linguistics in Zurich included study stays at the Merrion House in Beaconsfield, near London, and at the Sorbonne IV, Paris, at the Centre expérimental d’étude de la Civilisation Française and at the Chambre de Commerce de l’Industrie de Paris.

The interest in the strategic anchoring and practical implementation of communication tasks I was later able to consolidate at the Swiss Public Relations Institute with the Swiss Federal Diploma as a PR consultant SPRI. As well as Head of Public Relations International in the consumer goods industry, as Communications Lead at a research-based pharmaceutical company and as Head Communications at a MedTech company.

Since then, I have persued continuing education and training courses in the form of certificates of advanced stugdies at ZHAW, Columbia University New York (International Communication / Strategic Communications: International Perspectives and Leadership), at HSG's Executive School of Management (further education for politics) and at the HWZ/Texakademie (Digital Publisher & Social Media Producer, Corporate Storytelling & Branding).Currently, I continue to train at the Texakademie on a part-time basis.

I am also a certified member of the Swiss Association of Translators, Terminologists and Interpreters ASTTI and a member of the Swiss Association of Texts.s.

Part of any communication is the goodwill of the other person.

Max Frisch

Interests

Whenever possible, I read in my free time (literature, biographies and Belle Lettres). At present "The new Corporate Social Mind - Why attitude is everything - and how companies bring about social change" by Michael Alberg-Seberich and Derrick Feldmann and "Influencer Relations - Marketing and PR with digital opinion leaders" by Annika Schach and Timo Lommatzsch. While on the bedside table, Pascal Mercer's latest work "The Weight of Words" (though in German, entitled "Das Gewicht der Worte") remains a faithful companion in its unobtrusively sublime language, whose descriptions allow to get immersed in a translator's world of thoughts and questions about life and circumstances!

In addition, I enjoy the fresh air (mainly over lunch and weekends) and the creative work of trying out new recipes, the latter especially to the delight of my husband, our family and friends!

Memberships

As an accredited professional member, the Public Relations Codes are binding for me and form the basis of my work. As a certified member of the Swiss Association of Translators, Terminologists and Interpreters ASTTI, I rely on its Code of Professional and Honorary Conduct for my translation work. High quality standards apply to all my services provided, also due to my membership in the professional association of Swiss copywriters.
